Jennifer always dreamed of being a multi-tasking superstar. As a child she discovered a wide range different musical styles, but mainly Afro-Caribbean styles like salsa merengue and bachata. She also enjoyed mainstream music , like pop, hip-hop and R&B. Music was her passion, but she was equally fascinated by the film industry. West Side Story (1961) The musical of Rita Moreno, which has had the most influence on her as well as her main source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. In addition to being an entertainment artist, Jennifer had also been a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years at the Catholic elementary school named Holy Family situated on The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls preschool, Preston High School after the four-year period. Jennifer performed well in the sports department throughout her school years and played track and field and tennis. Her home in the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her house for the duration of her life. Jennifer moved out of the home of her parents at age 18 and moved out. Lopez worked at a law office during this period while also performing dance at night.
